This is Vicki's page. Look for some words of wisdom from her in the very near future. Until then, I'll write a few things for her....

When on a motorcycle trip to northern Georgia, Vicki and I saw a picture of a covered bridge on the cover of the local phone book. I asked a couple of people at the hotel about it, and they didn't know anything about it. Once back home, I did a search on the internet for covered bridges in Georgia, but more importantly, a search on the covered bridges in South Carolina. Campbell's Covered Bridge is the sole survivor of an era gone. This bridge was built in 1909, restored in 1964, and restored, again, in 1990. This is a picture of Vicki at Campbell's Covered Bridge in Gowensville, SC (the first covered bridge that she has ever visited):




I thought this was a good picture of us that was taken the day after Thanksgiving, 2004.


When Audrey was still on the way (but not here, yet), and both of us having vehicles with over 100,000 miles on them, we decided to get Vicki a new, and, hopefully, reliable car, so......this is the car that Vicki picked out:


It is a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta GLS 1.8T with the leather and sport suspension package. It's in Reflex Silver and has a grey/black interior. The car has been a lot of fun since purchasing it. (car is pictured without the factory rear spoiler which was added)
